DG Unlimited works with Dumfries and Galloway’s strategic public partners, regional organisations, and the creative sector to advocate for the vital role creatives play in our communities. We are a membership organisation with collaboration, development, and support at our core. DG Unlimited is also an active member of Scotland’s Creative Networks, working with our sister networks to champion the creative and cultural sector in Scotland.
As a membership-led organisation we are dedicated to supporting creative and cultural individuals and organisations across Dumfries and Galloway. We advocate for their needs, foster collaboration, and provide a variety of development opportunities.

We are focused on creativity. Whatever your medium, be you maker, painter, writer, musician or performer, DG Unlimited aims to offer support, encouragement, and advice in the development and delivery of creative practice in this region.

Our growing network of members encourages opportunities for collaboration, access to funding, member showcases, special offers, peer learning, regular newsletters, the latest opportunities in Dumfries and Galloway and beyond, workshops, learning journeys, leadership training and social networking events.
All of these member services and activities contribute to our primary goals: to advocate for the creatives who live and work here, to make funding and opportunities for professional growth more accessible, and to highlight Dumfries and Galloway’s role as an established hub for Scotland’s artistic and creative talent.

We’re fortunate to live in a part of Scotland with a rich artistic heritage, but as Dumfries and Galloway’s creative sector adapts to contemporary challenges, so must our support. In response, we’re championing our member services and DG Unlimited’s annual programme of support activities, opportunities, and funds, as a direct method of providing our fledgling creatives, students and young talent, emerging creatives of any age, and established practitioners with relevant, professional industry standard information and support, peer learning, and partnership working.
We believe when working together, creatives wield a powerful force for change. Our policies engage directly with this on an organisational level, from our diversity and inclusivity statement to our ongoing efforts towards sustainability and carbon neutrality.
