An exciting opportunity is now available to an individual with the right skills and experience to Chair the Dumfries and Galloway Cultural Partnership.
This independent Chair will play a crucial role in guiding the Partnership’s development and overseeing the delivery of the region’s Cultural Strategy.
The key elements of the role, include:
• Serving as an ambassador for the Dumfries and Galloway Cultural Partnership and Strategy
• Chairing meetings of the Cultural Partnership
• Supporting the Leads of the Thematic Groups of the Partnership
• Liaising with the Co-ordinator and Administrator about the running of the Partnership and implementation of the Cultural Strategy Delivery Plan
‘Cultural’ covers both the arts and heritage sectors, so it’s a broad and inclusive approach.
The post is a freelance position for one year, and will receive payment of £250 per day for 25 days per year along with expenses.
