DG Unlimited is pleased to share an upcoming event from The Stove’s What We Do Now Network.
Creative Neighbourhoods: A Blueprint for Local Placemaking will take place in Stranraer on 23 and 24 April 2026. The two-day event will explore an important question:
What does a creative, confident neighbourhood really need to thrive and how do we make sure the people who live there are leading the way?
The event is intentionally being hosted in Stranraer, where creative activity is already playing a meaningful role in regeneration and growing community confidence. Through discussion, shared learning and practical exploration, the programme will bring together people interested in placemaking, local leadership and community-driven cultural development.
This is an opportunity for artists, community organisers, local authorities, and anyone passionate about place to connect and exchange ideas about how creativity can support long-term, community-led change.
