I am a Writer, Broadcast Journalist, and Film Producer of art, feature, and documentary film. I’m the Network Coordinator for the DG Creative Wellbeing Network in Dumfries and Galloway and I am a Trustee of Alchemy Film & Arts in the Scottish Borders.
I’m passionate about widening access to the arts for all, especially for underrepresented people. Not only members of ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ communities, but those who are economically, geographically, and socially excluded. It is extremely important to me that my work, and in turn the work of DG Unlimited, helps break down the barriers preventing people from experiencing and participating in arts and culture. I’m proud to be leading DG Unlimited into the next phase of its work supporting and advocating for the creative sector in our region and in Scotland.
