About the Commission

DG Unlimited is inviting expressions of interest from early career photographers who are DG Unlimited Members and also members of the Talent Pool to capture a special evening of theatre and celebration on behalf of Fox and Hound Theatre.

The commission includes photography of a live performance of Because We Said We Would followed by the launch of Fox and Hound Theatre’s new charity. We are looking for a photographer with experience of live performance and/or event photography who can capture the energy, emotion and atmosphere of both the production and the celebration.

The resulting images will support future marketing, press, social media, fundraising and archival activity for both DG Unlimited and Fox and Hound Theatre.

What We’re Looking For

Photography covering a full theatre performance of Because We Said We Would and a charity launch. 

Because We Said We Would (Main House)

  • Approx. 1 hour 20 minutes plus interval.
  • High-quality production photography capturing key moments, performances and the atmosphere of the show.

Fox and Hound Theatre Charity Launch (Studio Space)

  • Approx. 1 hour 20 minutes.
  • Images capturing speeches, guests, networking, celebration and the overall atmosphere of the launch event.

We are looking for a photographer who:

  • Has experience photographing live performances and/or events.
  • Can work discreetly within a theatre environment.
  • Has a strong eye for storytelling, composition and capturing authentic moments.
  • Can deliver a curated gallery of professionally edited, high-quality images suitable for a range of promotional uses.

Deliverables

  • A curated gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution images from both the performance and charity launch.
  • Images suitable for print, press, websites and social media.
  • A minimum of 50 professionally edited images.
  • 5–10 highlight images supplied within 48 hours of the event for immediate publicity.
  • Full gallery delivered within 10 working days.

6pm – Arrive, set up, meet the team

7pm – Performance: Because We Said We Would (Main House)
Approx. 1 hour 20 minutes plus interval.

8.45 – 10pm – Charity Launch: Fox and Hound Theatre Charity Launch (Studio Space)
Approx. 1 hour 20 minutes.

Fee

The commission fee is £500, inclusive of attendance, editing, travel and delivery of the final images.
