Call for Videographer – Kirkcudbright Fringe Festival 2026
Join Us Behind the Lens
Kirkcudbright Fringe Festival is looking for a talented, creative videographer to capture the energy, colour and atmosphere of this year’s festival.
Over four exciting days, you’ll help tell the story of one of Scotland’s most vibrant community arts festivals, creating engaging content that will inspire audiences to visit in future years.
The Role
We are seeking a videographer to film throughout the four-day festival, producing high-quality footage suitable for:
Social media reels and promotional videos
Website banner and homepage video clips
Future festival marketing campaigns
Tourism and destination promotion for Kirkcudbright
What We’d Like You to Capture
Live performances across a variety of venues
Festival atmosphere and crowd reactions
Street entertainment and public spaces
Interviews with performers, artists, volunteers and organisers
Vox-pop interviews with festival-goers
Behind-the-scenes moments
The town, venues and unique character of Kirkcudbright during the festival
Deliverables
Successful applicants should be able to provide:
A collection of professionally edited short-form social media clips (portrait and landscape formats)
Website banner/video header clips
A library of high-quality raw footage for future promotional use
A short highlight film showcasing the festival

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in event videography
Creative storytelling and an eye for capturing atmosphere
Ability to work independently across multiple venues
Own professional camera, audio and stabilisation equipment
Experience creating engaging social media content
